Because they have leg angle settings but no column as standard, Systematic tripods are all capable of near-groud level shooting. Leg tubes are in 6X carbon fibre with Gitzo's efficient G-locks. The GT2542LS is a lightweight, compact ''long 4-section'' tripod in Gitzo's smallest Series 2, designed for excellent strength and torsional rigidity under loads of up to 25kg (55lb) and with DSLRs and lenses up to 300mm. The GT2542LS is the tallest of the Series 2 Systematic tripods and reaches eye level when fully open.
