Because they have leg angle settings but no column as standard, Systematic tripods are all capable of near-groud level shooting. Leg tubes are in 6X carbon fibre with Gitzo's efficient G-locks. The GT2542S is a lightweight, compact 4-section tripod in Gitzo's smallest Series 2. Designed for strength and torsional rigidity under loads of up to 25kg (55lb) and with DSLRs and lenses up to 300mm, it reaches compact level when fully open.
