The Zoffset is used to offset a shoulder pad from your camera baseplate in kits using the Mini or Universal Baseplate. Use it in conjunction with the Zacuto Shoulder Pad to shift the shoulder pad 3 inches to the right or left and 2 inches up or down. This enables you to position your eye comfortably in the viewfinder of most palm camcorders that have viewfinders in the back and center. The Zoffset attaches to one rod in your baseplate with a quick release ratcheting lever for easy break down and both rods running through the shoulder pad with an Allen key to keep them aligned.
Note: The Zoffset will ship with a short spacer inside the mount that can be removed to push your rods through the port.
