Single Action

The Single Action kit is a tripod kit including Zacuto DSLR Baseplate and universal follow focus. The DSLR Baseplate is height adjustable and therefore compatible with any DSLR camera with or without a battery grip. It attaches to your tripod plate using the standard tripod plate screws, (2) ¼” 20 and (1) 3/8” 16. You can quick release your camera from the baseplate by turning the red knob on the side and pulling up on your camera. You can easily add the optional Z-Finder Pro by attaching the Z-Finder Mounting Frame (included with the Z-Finder Pro models) to the camera quick release plate with the two included thumb screws and Allen slide. You could attach an EVF with Zacuto Tri Mount Kit.

Zacuto follow focus comes with a .8 pitch removable gear (other sizes available.) It slides up and down the rails, moves in and out for different width lenses, and can sit on the left or right side of the camera. The gear can be moved from the front to the back of the focus knob to accommodate smaller lenses. The Single Action comes with two Zipgear Universal lens straps to accommodate non-pitched lenses (most DSLR lenses.) The .8 pitch Zipgear Universal fits one lens by cutting the strand to fit your lens and connecting the ends together using the included housing and Allen key. Now, the follow focus gear can make contact with the Zipgear allowing you to pull focus.
